He graduated with First Class Honours Degree in Accounting from University of Ife (Now Obafemi Awolowo University) Ile Ife in Nigeria. He also obtained Master of Science Degree in Economics and Master of Business Administration from University of Lagos, Nigeria. He is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria.
He started his career with Unilever International. He later worked with the prestigious firm of Arthur Anderson & Co. (Now KPMG professional Services). He left Arthur Anderson for the Banking Industry where he has over 12 years’ experience in financial services business, covering; Investment Banking, Corporate Banking, Project Finance and Multilateral Institution Assisted Projects. Segun is also an associate member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria.
